Every family has a moment that changes everything. For us, it began the day Travis had to find care for his grandmother.
She was strong, full of personality, and still herself. But the truth was simple. She could no longer live at home safely.
Like any loving grandson, he stepped in. He opened his laptop and started searching for answers.
“Best assisted living near me.”
“Memory care in Florida.”
“Safe senior living options.”
He expected clarity. What he found instead was chaos.
Confusing websites, outdated facility lists, voicemails, missed calls, and a hospital pushing for a discharge plan far faster than any realistic family could handle. He had resources. He had experience. He had a business background. But even with all of that, the process felt overwhelming.
And he kept thinking to himself, “If this is hard for me, what about everyone else?”
That moment revealed a painful truth. Florida’s care-placement process wasn’t just complicated. It was broken.
Families were navigating one of the most emotional decisions of their lives with no roadmap. Hospitals were overwhelmed, trying to safely discharge patients without a streamlined system. Providers had empty beds but no efficient way to communicate real-time availability.
No infrastructure. No clarity. No support system connecting the people who needed each other most.
Travis had spent years building solutions in funding, automation, and business systems. He recognized the pattern immediately.
This wasn’t a people problem.
